All lanes on San Jose Boulevard near Mandarin Road are open again after JEA completed a water main repair that narrowed traffic for two days.

JEA announced Wednesday, Sept. 2, that crews finished fixing the broken water main just north of Mandarin Road. Temporary asphalt is in place where the repair was made, and traffic is flowing without restrictions, the utility said in a post on X.

The leak first surfaced Monday, Aug. 31, when JEA closed one northbound and one southbound lane while crews located the source of the break. JEA advised commuters to allow extra travel time during peak hours but said it did not expect the leak to affect water service for nearby customers.

JEA has not announced a date for permanent asphalt resurfacing at the repair site.
