The annual Book Character Parade is open to PreK through third-grade students, according to an announcement on the school's website. Students are invited to dress as a character from a book they have read. Families and staff can watch the parade on campus at the school, located at 5209 Shad Rd.

The parade is one of several fall events at the school. Duval Charter School at Mandarin is also hosting its annual Trunk-or-Treat on Friday, Oct. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m., open to all students and families.
