A water leak on San Jose Boulevard near Mandarin Road closed one lane in each direction Monday, Aug. 31.

JEA said in a traffic alert on X that crews were working to locate the source of the leak. One northbound lane and one southbound lane were shut down while the investigation continued.

The utility said it did not expect the leak to affect water service for nearby customers.

JEA did not provide an estimated timeline for completing repairs or reopening the closed lanes. The cause of the leak has not been disclosed.
