Mandarin residents can cast ballots at two neighborhood libraries beginning Tuesday, Oct. 20, when early voting opens for Florida's 2026 general election.

Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland announced Oct. 12 that early voting will continue through Sunday, Nov. 1, at 24 locations across the county.

The two Mandarin locations are:

  • Mandarin Branch Library: 3330 Kori Road.
  • South Mandarin Branch Library: 12125 San Jose Blvd.

Eligible Duval County voters can cast ballots at any of the county's 24 early voting sites, regardless of their assigned Election Day precinct.

The 13-day early voting period begins four days before Florida's eight-day mandatory voting window and continues one day beyond it.

Early voting hours vary

Voting hours change during the 13-day period:

  • Oct. 20-23: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Oct. 24-25: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Oct. 26-30: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 31-Nov. 1: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Both Mandarin libraries will follow the countywide schedule.

Voters must bring identification containing a photograph and signature. Acceptable identification includes a Florida driver's license, Florida identification card or U.S. passport.

A complete list of voting locations and hours is available on the Duval County Supervisor of Elections website.

Mail ballot requests due Oct. 22

Voters who want a ballot mailed to them must submit their request by 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22.

The deadline applies to requesting a ballot by mail, not returning a completed ballot.

According to the Supervisor of Elections Office, voters can request a mail ballot by calling 904-255-VOTE (8683).

Completed vote-by-mail ballots must reach the elections office by 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3.

Secure ballot intake stations will also be available inside early voting locations during voting hours.

Election Day is Nov. 3

The general election takes place Tuesday, Nov. 3, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Unlike early voting, Election Day voters must cast their ballots at their assigned polling locations.

Residents can verify their registration status, review sample ballots and find their assigned precinct through duvalelections.gov.
